The problem is you're playing a female monk. Just try a mesmer female in enchantress armor ... you'll see. My mesmer gets hounded all the time - And I'm not running around encouraging it, believe me.

Try playing a Female Ele (Geo/Air-armor) with the name "Miss Bunny"..... I could get rich by telling those little boys dirty stories. Too bad my morale got in the way.

Reminds me, I was a monk in a FoW group. Someone had to be afk so we all agreed to wait for him. Well, someone else in our group got impatient (ADHD?) and decided to go attack some monsters. I had to run back and retreat to safety. Of course he got killed and got the poor fella who was AFK killed, too. I rezzed everyone except him.
When the other guy got back, of course it was "Where did this DP come from?" The impatient goof was still on the ground shouting "Rez me! I promise I won't do it again!" -(it was actually his second offense)

Eh I don't even bother with a healing monk because I can't stand people anymore haha. Smiter for life. You annoy me, I doubt you'll be seeing me again haha. Harsh, but effective. I enjoy having a competant group that can continue on while that morons on the ground crying res and spamming about how myself or others are noobs.

This always attracts me, particularly nowadays that I'm a smiter.
If you want a healer, broadcast that, right now you're just paying any monk off the street. Whenever I lead a group and need a healer I say "Group of [x] doing [whatever] needs a healer, please whisper me if you are interested".

There was another really funny one that I forgot... ugh... gimme a minute *goes and does other things with this window open*

Player 1: Heal Monk!
Player 2: OMFG HEAL!!!!1!
Me: My Engery is 2 of 42!
Me: My Engery is 2 of 42!
Me: My Engery is 2 of 42!
Player 1: OMG You're the worst monk ever!
Me left the game.

Bear in mind they ran ahead while I was still recovering from Rebirth and I kept getting attacked with Engery Drain. First time I've ever left a group high and dry.
